Sensory Awareness Dynamics

What is Sensory Awareness Dynamics? Naming it suggests more than all the senses working together. Indeed! Self-awareness with Sensory Awareness create the dynamic. The dynamic is the relationship within one's own Interoception, the inner landscape. How, who, and when we react, respond, observe, and know the condition we are in from the inside perch. A view of our own. The inside scoop. The whole picture, even the limited version with the blind spot. We begin where we are to acknowledge, recognize and honor the sacred ground in our heart that finds joy in this connection. A deep self-embrace produces a gentle welcome into an intimacy. The realm of being establishes the kind of unfailing foundational steps towards maturity.

Sensory Awareness Dynamics come alive in daily living. Sensory Awareness Dynamics come alive while on the cushion in meditation, insight meditation, concentration, Insight Dialogue, and sutta practice. Sensory Awareness is a natural hub on and off the cushion, delving into daily life and quieting the mind through practices both formal and informal. The sense gates remain a central hub in the physical connections, the energetic and subtle connections and the palpable knowledge that arises in customized wisdom through our unique habits and patterns of the nervous system.

Sensory Awareness Dynamics builds a wide and vast spectrum of investigation. Simple sensory awareness experiments always offer interesting nuggets of discovery. A slow and steady practice regular weekly sessions available through the Sensory Awareness Foundation offers a different leader each week for an amazing variety of practices. As I said in a recent “Leader in the Spotlight” interview our leaders, "We are a chorus of soloists each singing the same song.” The community of practitioners bring rich insights, ah ha! moments, as to how this practice supports living in troubled times.

"Sensing with Shelley," courses designed to include the cultivation of dynamicsas they arise in experiments, apply to the 'A, B, C's' align, breathe, and connect, in a three-part workshop exploring Touch, Water, Movement, and ongoing weekly flights of sessions of 40 minutes each to establish mindful sensory awareness, and self-awareness ~ a prompt through the day. When we slow down, connect, savor, and create ease and well-being we discover new connections.
